| Process automation |

Process automation can not only lead to the elimination of media breaks and a reduction in manual effort, but can also further a process-oriented corporate culture, in small as well as large companies. Process automation does not mean that everything runs automatically afterwards. It merely means that the process is controlled by a part of the BPM software, the process engine. This engine decides which players (employees, business partners, managers but also IT systems) are to take care of which tasks and when this is to be done in order to achieve the process goal.
With the use of the standard Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN), information relevant for process automation can be visualised so that employees from your specialist departments can understand it and can even model it themselves, to an extent. My emphasis is on interlinking the specialised and technical process models.
